Blackpink is racing toward the final chapter of their third world tour, and successfully completed their Tokyo Dome concerts with all seats sold out for three days.
Blackpink held "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [DEADLINE] IN TOKYO" at Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 16th, 17th and 18th. It is the third time they have performed at Tokyo Dome following 2019 and 2023, and it is more meaningful in that they have expanded the scale each year. Tickets for this concert also sold out as soon as they opened, drawing a total of 165,000 spectators over three days and reaffirming their unparalleled ticket power in Japan.
The mood rose early with a relay pop-up store commemorating the concert and the release of various collaboration merchandise. On the first day of the concert, light-up campaigns were simultaneously held at Japan's four major towers: Kobe Port Tower, Tokyo Tower, Nagoya Mirai Tower and Sapporo TV Tower. The scene at Tokyo Dome also drew attention as many fans lined up to purchase merchandise, surrounding the area.
The charged atmosphere exploded on stage. Opening with mega hits that captivated the world such as "Kill This Love" and "Pink Venom," Blackpink showcased the essence of powerful live performance and immediately took over the venue. Their deeper charisma and highly polished performances raised the heat at Tokyo Dome to a peak.
Well-made production that combined live band sound and YG's unique concert know-how maximized audience immersion. The members ran through Blackpink's musical journey nonstop with a historic setlist ranging from their debut songs "Whistle" and "Boombayah" to "JUMP," which was released during the tour.
A special moment of communication with fans continued. On the encore stage the four members moved through every corner of the venue to connect with the audience, and the fans responded with applause and cheers, breathing with them until the last moment of the concert. Blackpink said, "Time passed so fast, it's a shame. We received so much energy over the three days. We want to convey our love and gratitude to each and every one of you."
Having successfully completed their Tokyo Dome concerts, Blackpink will meet fans at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on the 24th, 25th and 26th. Through this, they will wrap up the world tour "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR
Meanwhile, Blackpink will release their mini third album [DEADLINE] at 2 p.m. (Korea time) on Feb. 27. It is their first full-group album in about three years and five months since their second full album [BORN PINK], and there is already a strong reaction to the return of the world-class artists. It is expected to once again capture everyone's hearts by imprinting Blackpink's present and the direction they will move forward.
