Actor Jang Do-ha made his first appearance in Undercover Miss Hong as Lee Yong-gi, a securities company director who formerly held a doctorate in engineering, capturing attention with a fresh charm. In episode 2 of tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama Undercover Miss Hong (directed by Park Seon-ho, written by Moon Hyun-kyung), which premiered last week amid much buzz, Jang Do-ha first appears as a member of Hanmin Securities' crisis management division to which Hong Geum-bo (Park Shinhye) was assigned.
Appearing in a 1990s realistic office mode, Jang Do-ha, meeting Geum-bo for the first time, said, "You're the new employee, Miss Hong, right?" and guided her to the crisis management division, a shabby corner of the research department. The members of the crisis management division Geum-bo encounters include Albut (a character who is the chairman's maternal grandson and the head of the division but watches movies all day) (Cho Han-gyeol), Director Bang Jin-mok (a perennial director who thinks the company is a comic book room that gets paid to run) (Kim Do-hyun), and Lee Yong-gi (Jang Do-ha), who, despite being a securities company director, was absorbed only in writing programs as he is a doctorate in engineering and a cyberbanking developer. At a crisis management division dinner, Jang Do-ha seriously predicted, "From now on, two mobile phones, not landlines, will be standard" and "an era will come when people will make calls and use the internet on palm-sized computers," only to be mocked, and he provoked laughter from viewers by running with Park Shinhye to pay the dinner bill with a company card before 9 p.m.
Later, the sharp Geum-bo, noticing Lee Yong-gi's background, recommended him to Shin Jeong-woo (Ko Kyung-pyo) as the talent to digitize all of Hanmin Securities' documents, which made the development-obsessed Yong-gi's eyes light up. While embodying the pure-faced but unexpectedly storied Lee Yong-gi and radiating a quirky yet harmless charm, Jang Do-ha is expected to take responsibility for the crisis management division's comedic chemistry alongside Park Shinhye, Cho Han-gyeol and Kim Do-hyun. Attention is focused on Jang Do-ha's performance, which will be completely different from the role of Moon Jeong-jun that angered viewers in the previous work The Judge from Hell.
Meanwhile, led by the reliable actor Park Shinhye, Undercover Miss Hong, which instantly drew viewers in with Park Shinhye's undercover infiltration to find Yeppi through solid performances by a cast including Ko Kyung-pyo, Ha Yoon-kyung, Cho Han-gyeol, Choi Ji-soo, Kang Chae-young, Lee Duk-hwa, Kim Do-hyun and Jang Do-ha and a fast-paced development, airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m. on tvN.
