Actor Lee Sang Yi was stopped at the entrance by a staff member during filming.
On the 19th, a video titled "What is the real meaning of 'Bogum Magical'? Lee Sang Yi moved by Park Bo Gum's naming sense" was uploaded to tvN's YouTube channel.
Ahead of the release of tvN's new variety show "Bogum Magical," Park Bo Gum arrived first at a hair salon in a corner of Seoul that still retains an old-fashioned atmosphere. Owner Park Bo Gum smiled brightly, saying, "This is my first time with something like this, so I don't know what to do, but please take care of me."
Park Bo Gum had come to the neighborhood hair salon for a preliminary inspection before it opened, and Lee Sang Yi arrived at the set shortly after. But as he was about to open the door, a staff member ran up and stopped Lee Sang Yi, shouting, "You can't go in." A mishap occurred in which the staff member mistook Lee Sang Yi for a regular customer, and a startled Lee Sang Yi said, "Why? I'm a cast member," which drew laughter. The staff member apologized, saying, "I'm sorry," and Lee Sang Yi eventually received permission, asking, "Can I go in?", and entered the salon.
Lee Sang Yi complained to Park Bo Gum amid the unexpected entrance-cut incident, "I was just about to open the door and they said, 'You can't go in!' I said, 'I'm a cast member.' Maybe my outfit didn't register. They must have thought I was a customer," prompting uproarious laughter around them.
Meanwhile, "Bogum Magical" follows Park Bo Gum, who holds a hairdresser's national license, his close friend Lee Sang Yi, and Kwak Dong- yeon as they run a special hair salon in a remote rural village that grooms both hair and hearts. It premieres on the 30th at 8:40 p.m.
