Chef Im Seong-keun, who is embroiled in controversy after confessing to drunk driving, has announced plans to reveal his tattoos.
Im Seong-keun has recently been communicating with fans through his social media. On the 18th he confessed past drunk driving on his YouTube channel, and even after that he has continued engaging with fans by replying to their comments on social media one by one.
First, Im Seong-keun replied to a fan's comment saying "힘내세요" with "Thank you. More terrifying than resentment or reproach is indifference. I apologize once again."
To a fan who said they were troubled by Im Seong-keun's drunk driving confession, he wrote, "I am very sorry. But it feels like I put down a heavy burden in my heart. Actually it was drinking six years ago so it is nothing to boast about; it was simple drinking, not an accident involving injury, and if I thought it was nothing I wouldn't have done an apology broadcast. I apologize for all the facts and ask for forgiveness."
He added, "I don't want to live hiding things that aren't true. I'm sorry for revealing something that isn't a boast. I promise to show better behavior going forward. Also, though it's nothing special, I promise to enjoy life by donating my skills where they are needed."
In particular, in response to a fan comment saying "Show us your cool tattoo," Im Seong-keun replied, "Shall I? These days a lot of people have very cool tattoos so I tried to copy them. But that shouldn't be a problem, right?" His tattoos have recently become a topic of interest along with his drunk driving confession.
Im Seong-keun earlier confessed on YouTube on the 18th, "Over 10 years I drove under the influence about three times. When I drink I fall asleep in the car, right? I was sleeping in the car and got caught by the police," and said, "Later I learned you have to turn off the engine. A wrong is a wrong," admitting his drunk driving history.
