"4th-generation representative performer" ONEUS is returning to music at its source.
ONEUS posted an album preview for the single album '原' on its official YouTube channel at 12 a.m. today (19th).
The released video includes highlight audio tracks for three songs — including the title track 'Grenade', 'STOP & MOVE', and 'When you're close to me' — inserted for the first time, raising fans' expectations.
First, the title track 'Grenade' is a song that captures uncontrolled emotional energy over a heavy bass. Like energy that explodes the moment a pin is pulled, the tension throughout the song delivers a powerful sense of immersion. Members Geonhee and Hwanwoong participated directly in the songwriting, completing ONEUS's conceptual charm with greater density.
In addition, '原' includes 'STOP & MOVE', which features the bright energy characteristic of nu-disco centered on funky lines and a rhythmic bass session, and the pop ballad 'When you're close to me', which blends dreamy synth sounds with a lyrical emotional line. In particular, 'When you're close to me' was recorded with member Seohok participating before his enlistment, making it especially meaningful because listeners can hear the voices of all five members.
The single album '原' is ONEUS's origin and signifies a beginning.
