On the 19th, A2O MAY (CHENYU, SHIJIE, QUCHANG, MICHE, KAT) said that on the 17th in Beijing, China, at the '2025–2026 Music Business Industry Awards (MBIA) industry awards' they were honored with the music business X Weibo Na Yun annual emerging musician award, which corresponds to a rookie award in the institutional sector.
A2O MAY is a global girl group planned by producer Lee Soo-man and Yoo Young-jin. In this regard, A2O MAY, through their agency A2O Entertainment, said, "We are greatly honored to receive this award," and added, "We are deeply grateful to teacher Lee Soo-man and all the staff at A2O. This award is our first of the year and a glory achieved together with MAYnia. We thank everyone who has been with us and watched over us; we will keep the encouragement you have given us in our hearts and continue moving forward without stopping."
They added, "In the new year and at this new starting point, we will continue to work hard, grow, and repay you with better music."
The awards ceremony is hosted by China Music Business (音), a leading Chinese music industry economic publication, and co-organized by China Music Business and Weibo Music Na Yun (拿云). With this award, A2O MAY once again proved they are a noteworthy emerging artist in both China and the global market.
