She poured out everything she wanted to say. It hit me like an arrow, and I thought, 'am I the neighborhood punching bag?'" she revealed her upset feelings.
Lee Hye-jung's daughter said, "She's only lenient with my brother. I suddenly got so angry. If it had been before, my mom would have gotten out of the car or ignored me. I was talking for a long time and then went quiet. Tears also came out. My mom said, 'If you're relieved, that's fine,'" and said they became a little closer to each other after that day.
Lee Hye-jung's daughter, who said her parents did not help when she got married, said, "My brother recently moved into a nice house. I heard that mom and dad helped when they moved into that house. I thought, 'Aren't they spoiling my brother too much?' When our family eats together, my parents always cover the meal expenses for the large group. When I say I'll treat, they invite my brother's family," she said, expressing her hurt feelings.
Lee Hye-jung said, "My daughter hasn't been married long. It was just more comfortable for my son's family. I wanted to see my granddaughters more than my daughter-in-law and son-in-law. My daughter usually pays her share of meals well, so I thought it would be okay to be treated by her," she said honestly.
When asked which son-in-law or daughter-in-law was better, Lee Hye-jung made people laugh by saying, "they're all the same."
