'My Ugly Duckling' couple Park Gun and Han-young explained the recently surfaced reports of divorce, discord and living apart.
On the 18th episode of SBS Sunday entertainment 'My Ugly Duckling', Lee Sang-min and Lim Won-hee visited Park Gun, who lives in Goesan. Lee Sang-min asked about the recent attention focused on Park Gun and Han-young. First, regarding the disappearance rumors, he said, "I was on a '6 o'clock hometown' report, so sometimes it takes two days and I couldn't do events during the busy season. I said I wanted to give up events and do reports honoring the elders, and then reporters wrote that I 'gave up everything.'"
He spoke cautiously about the term 'skinship-less.' He said he was only talking about being considerate because Han-young was having a hard time visiting hospitals to prepare for a baby, but articles called it skinship-less.
Han-young, who received the call through Park Gun, said, "I didn't know it was fake news either. People left comments saying, 'Don't get divorced. Live well.' So I didn't know why such comments were posted until I realized it then," she said. She calmly said, "We really have no problems. It's just that couples can have bickering while adjusting to each other, isn't that possible?" and added, "It's not a marital problem; Park Gun has been thinking a lot because of work. He naturally thinks a lot about the future." Han-young was rather happy that she could talk about it.
