Group member Woobin of the group CRAVITY captivated viewers with his deep timbre and solid live performance.
Woobin recently grants on the cable channel MBC M's "Picnic Live Outing" to present a live stage.
On that broadcast, Woobin visited Yangpyeong Library in Yangpyeong County, Gyeonggi Province with Super Junior's Ryeowook, Ahn Ye-eun, Gabien Jeyzan to give citizens a gift-like live performance. For the first stage, Woobin performed Panic's "Left-handed" with Ahn Ye-eun and Jeyzan, opening the song with his characteristically warm timbre and radiating pleasant energy.
In the following second stage, he completed a duet stage with Ryeowook with Lee Ji-hoon's "Doll." With a refreshing and emotional vocal, Woobin harmonized with Ryeowook's timbre to build a fantastic harmony that moved viewers. For his final solo stage, he selected Ailee's "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow," the drama OST from "Goblin," and, matched to the lyrical piano melody, delivered delicate emotional lines that offered deep immersion and left a strong aftertaste.
In the talk between stages, Woobin's musical passion and wit stood out. After the duet stage, when Ryeowook offered praise, Woobin said, "I'm truly honored; actually, I practiced a lot before coming today," revealing his exceptional enthusiasm. After watching Ryeowook's solo stage, he said, "I listen with a studious mind," offering incisive analysis and admiration as a vocalist, and Ryeowook responded by saying to come find him separately, showing warm chemistry between senior and junior and creating a heartwarming atmosphere.
Concluding the broadcast, Woobin expressed his thoughts, saying, "I was honored to appear on 'Picnic Live Outing' for the first time, and I was glad to be with you in the beautiful city of Yangpyeong."
Woobin, who debuted with CRAVITY in 2020, has steadily proven not only solid skills as the main vocalist but also songwriting, composing, and producing abilities. In addition, he has been cast in the lead role of Romeo in the musical "Romeo and Juliet," which opens at the KEPCO Art Center on Mar. 24, and is preparing for a new leap as a musical actor.
CRAVITY, the group to which Woobin belongs, will meet fans through the "2026 CRAVITY Fan Concert 'VITY FESTA'" held at Olympic Hall, Olympic Park in Seoul on Feb. 7 and 8.
