Kiana Underwood, an actress who appeared in the final season of Nickelodeon's popular children's program All That, was killed in a hit-and-run crash. She was 33.
On the 16th, according to U.S. outlet Variety, Kiana Underwood was confirmed to be the victim of a hit-and-run crash that occurred that day in the Brownsville area of Brooklyn. New York police confirmed the death of a female victim at the scene.
According to reports, Kiana Underwood was struck by a passenger car just before 7 a.m. while crossing an intersection, and was reportedly dragged about two blocks. No one has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run.
Born in New York, Kiana Underwood appeared in seven episodes of the popular sketch comedy All That in 2005 alongside stars such as Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon and Keenen Ivory Wayans.
All That was a children's television series that aired on Nickelodeon from 1994 to 2005, aimed at young audiences and gaining great popularity by featuring original short comedy sketches and a weekly musical guest.
She also appeared in Nickelodeon's Little Bill. In the animated series Little Bill, produced by Bill Cosby, she voiced the protagonist's cousin Fuchsia Glover and participated in a total of 23 episodes between 1999 and 2004.
She later voiced a role in the 2001 animated TV movie Santa, Baby and went on to participate in touring productions of the musical Hairspray.
