Actor Rhee Minjung revealed the realities of parenting as she followed her son's basketball tournament.
On the 18th, Rhee Minjung posted several photos on her social media with the brief caption "Hongcheon Super Cup." The released photos showed her son Junhu participating in the "NH Nonghyup Bank 2026 Hongcheon Global Youth Basketball Super Cup."
Junhu, focused on the game in his uniform on the court, looked quite serious. With quick movements and aggressive play, the expression "basketball hopeful" naturally came to mind. Rhee Minjung appeared to have traveled to Hongcheon in person to support her son's game.
In the subsequently released photos, Rhee Minjung was also seen with her hat pulled down low and her head bowed. She added the captions "Now I know all the roads to Hongcheon" and "Issue of not washing my face because of oversleeping," honestly conveying an unadorned parenting routine instead of glamour. It was a passage where one could feel a day in the life of a mother rather than an actor.
In particular, the sight of following tournaments held across the country and sharing in a child's growth resonated with many parents. Even with short captions and photos, the routine built up through repeated travel and cheering was conveyed intact.
Meanwhile, Rhee Minjung married actor Lee Byung-hun in 2013, had her son Junhu in 2015, and gave birth to daughter Seoi in Dec. 2023, and she is balancing parenting and her activities as the mother of two children.<
