News of actor Woo Chang-soo's death was reported belatedly.
According to one media outlet on the 18th, Woo Chang-soo passed away on the 16th. He was 51.
The actor died after a battle with illness, and his bereaved family has already completed the funeral arrangements. The burial site is the Seoul Metropolitan Funeral Hall.
On the 29th of last month, he wrote on his Instagram, "Today I agonized countless times about shaving my head, and after my younger sister said something to me, I only cut the top," and he posted, "I have to take good care of myself. Chang-soo, pull yourself together."
That post became the last message he posted. Actress Choi Ga-in left a comment saying, "I still can't believe it. Oppa lived a beautiful life. Sleep well, my number one," expressing her condolences.
Meanwhile, Woo Chang-soo was active in musicals and plays and appeared in "Welcome to My World" and "Face Off." Woo Chang-soo also worked as a director and served as a professor in the Model Acting Arts Department at Seoul Hoseo Art and Practical College, where he was known for mentoring younger colleagues.
