News of actor Woo Chang-su's death was belatedly reported.
According to a media outlet on the 18th, Woo Chang-su passed away on the 16th. He was 51.
The deceased died after a battle with illness, and the bereaved family has already held the funeral rites. The burial site is Seoul Municipal Crematorium.
On the 29th of last month, he posted on his Instagram, "I agonized countless times about shaving my head today, and after my younger sister said something, I only cut off the back," and added, "You have to take care of it diligently. Chang-su, pull yourself together," in a post.
That post became the last one he made. Actress Choi Ga-in commented, "I still can't believe it. Oppa lived a beautiful life. Sleep well, my No. 1," leaving a message of condolence.
Meanwhile, Woo Chang-su was active in musicals and plays, appearing in "Welcome to My World" and "Face Off," among others. He also worked as a director, leading the theater company Shinsegae and serving as artistic director of the theater company Whistle.
He was known to have worked as a professor in the model and acting arts department at Seoul Hoseo Arts Practical College, devoting himself to training juniors.
