Kian84 was shown rummaging through a trash can in the Arctic.
In the Aug. 18 broadcast at 9:10 p.m., the MBC entertainment program 'Extreme 84' (directed by Park Su-bin·Kim Ki-ho·Jung Ji-woon) episode 8 revealed the extreme crew's pre-departure scenes as they prepared to challenge the Arctic Polar Circle Marathon, the coldest and harshest place in the world.
After arriving in the Arctic, the extreme crew tried to quickly have ramen at the lodging, but they ran into an unexpected problem. While putting ramen in a pot and boiling it, Kian84 suddenly looked flustered and began scanning the surroundings. Seeing him appear to be looking for something, Kang Nam seemed to realize the situation and sighed, "Ah, we threw it all away, didn't we."
It turned out that there were no small plates prepared at the lodging. After a moment of hesitation, Kian84 said without hesitation, "Let's just use this," and rummaged through the lodging's trash can, pulling out the cup noodle container he had just thrown away and surprising everyone. The crew burst into laughter at the unimaginable choice.
Then Kian84, as if it were nothing, playfully quipped, "Because it's the Arctic, it's clean," drawing another round of laughter. Kian84's "eccentric behavior," showing his survival skills even in the extreme environment of the Arctic, reflected the program's identity.
