Kian84 grabbed attention with an unimaginable act of taking off his top in the Arctic.
On the 18th at 9:10 p.m., the eighth episode of MBC's entertainment program Extreme 84 aired, revealing the extreme crew challenging the polar circle marathon, the coldest and harshest place in the world.
While pre-experiencing the marathon course, the extreme crew encountered an unexpected scene on site. Some participants had taken off all their tops and were posing for commemorative photos nearly naked. Seeing this, Kian84 said "it seemed like a display of youth" and watched the situation.
When a crew member said, "Shouldn't we try it once, too," Kian84 did not hesitate and threw off his padding jacket. The polar circle marathon course where they stood was near a glacier, an environment where even wearing mountain padding brings skin‑biting cold. Nevertheless, the extreme crew removed their layered clothing and took off their tops, reminiscent of military "cold‑weather training."
They shouted provocatively at competitors ahead, and unwilling to lose, a two‑person Dutch team responded by taking off their tops and lying down in the snow. The extreme crew also threw themselves onto the glacier, but they jumped up in just one second, shivering in the cold in a gaunt appearance that drew laughter.
Meanwhile, "Extreme 84" airs every Sunday at 9:10 p.m. on MBC.<
