Actor Ku Sung-hwan's "bike romance" provoked laughter with an unexpected twist. Eyeing an expensive bike despite not having a license, Kian84 put the brakes on with practical advice.
On the 16th broadcast of MBC variety show I Live Alone, Ku Sung-hwan was shown visiting Toegye-ro bike street, known as Korea's No. 1 bike district, to realize his bike fantasy.
On that day, Ku Sung-hwan mentioned the famous scene in the film "Bit" where Jung Woosung rode a bike and confessed, "I have had a romance with bikes since I was young." As soon as he entered the bike shop, he searched for a model similar to the one Jung Woosung rode, and he could not hide his excitement as he climbed onto a sportbike that you ride leaning forward.
But the bike in question had a top speed of 200 km/h and a price of a whopping 18,500,000 won. The Rainbow members joked with worried remarks such as, "That will send him off" and "When he opens his eyes, the Jade Emperor will be in front of him." Even so, Ku Sung-hwan could not easily take his eyes off it.
Watching this, experienced biker Kian84 immediately offered practical advice. He said firmly, "You shouldn't go straight to that one," and "You need to gain enough experience on middle-weight bikes and step up gradually. It's dangerous if you jump straight to one that powerful." It was essentially a rebuke of Ku Sung-hwan's "flex."
But the bigger twist came later. Ku Sung-hwan cautiously confessed to the bike shop owner, "Actually, I don't have a class 2 small motorcycle license yet." Hearing this, Jun Hyun-moo was taken aback, saying, "You don't even have a license?" and Kian84 could not stop nagging, saying, "Then what does the owner expect you to do?"
Ku Sung-hwan explained, "I have a class 1 regular and a class 1 large license, but I don't have licenses beyond that, so I'm trying to get one," and "I'm going to take the test this afternoon." But even that did not go smoothly. When it was revealed that this would be Ku Sung-hwan's third attempt at the test, the Rainbow members once again could not hide their surprise and burst into laughter.
