Listening quietly to Nam Jin's "Empty Glass," Kim Kwang-kyu recalled, "The lyrics bring you back to the starting point," and said, "When I was scammed in a jeonse and had no money, I sang the line 'Anyway, life is about holding an empty glass and getting drunk. Let's think of it as if it never happened. Let's try to fill the empty glass again' and said, 'Let's just go back to the beginning.'"
In particular, Kim Kwang-kyu, saying, "I think I cried the most when I lost all my money through bad choices and didn't even have hospital money," shed tears he had been holding back.
Meanwhile, Kim Kwang-kyu is a prominent entertainer who even attended a 'jeonse fraud victims' meeting.' He said, "I found a jeonse house in Seoul and was scammed. I lost the money I had saved for 11 years." At that time the real estate agent committed the fraud, renting out the low-rise apartment as monthly rent, taking the jeonse deposit from the tenant and absconding.
Afterward, Kim Kwang-kyu overcame the pain of the jeonse fraud and received much support when he secured an owned apartment in Songdo in 2022.<
