The new tvN Wednesday-Thursday drama Our Universe, which premieres on Feb. 4 (Wed), directed by Lee Hyun-seok and Jeong Yeo-jin, written by Sujin and Shin I-hyeon, planned by Studio Dragon, and produced by Scene&Studio Co., Ltd., released on the 17th a teaser video for "My Universe" that reveals the growling chemistry between Seon Tae-hyung (played by Bae In Hyuk) and Woo Hyun-jin (played by Roh Jeong-Eui), who become in-laws by chance.
Our Universe depicts the chaotic cohabitation romance that unfolds when a man and woman, whose relationship is tangled from their first meeting, suddenly end up raising a 20-month-old nephew, "Uju" (played by Park Yoo-ho). The story follows two people who are too close to be strangers but too distant to be family as they grow through the new "universe" that has intruded into their lives, offering fresh excitement and empathy. Directors Lee Hyun-seok and Jeong Yeo-jin, beloved for their stylish direction, take the helm, and writers Sujin and Shin I-hyeon, known for their lively writing, co-wrote the script to ensure quality. Above all, trending actors such as Bae In Hyuk, Roh Jeong-Eui, and Park Seoham join to complete an amusing and heart-fluttering youth romantic comedy, raising expectations.
The released teaser shows Seon Tae-hyung and Woo Hyun-jin, whose first meeting went completely awry. First, the two cause an uproar at a used-goods transaction site. Woo Hyun-jin throws a punch at Seon Tae-hyung right from the start, accusing him of selling a counterfeit, and Seon Tae-hyung's fiery retort, I don't want to talk to a nuisance like you, just leave, makes their heated exchange intriguing.
The two's relationship, which they thought they would never see again, didn't end there. Seon Tae-hyung appears at the meeting between families for Woo Hyun-jin's only family member, her sister Woo Hyun-joo (played by Park Ji-hyun). The phrase "another universe suddenly dropped into the universe that had been my everything" makes the story of these people, who unexpectedly plunge into the parenting front and tackle a new life "new quest" together, even more intriguing.
