C9 Entertainment's rookie boy group NAZE (Naze) captured major Japanese variety shows with their all-around charm.
NAZE (Kaisei, Yoon-gi, Ato, Turn, Yuya, Kim Geon, Dohyuk) is set to appear in the full-group drama DREAM STAGE (Dream Stage), which premieres on Japan's terrestrial broadcaster TBS on the 16th, and has recently been energetically active across various leading local variety programs, leaving an impression on global viewers.
First, members Kaisei, Turn and Kim Geon appeared on the large sports entertainment special program year-end all-star sports festival (大晦日オルスタ育祭), which aired on Dec. 31 last year, heating up the atmosphere with overflowing energy. In particular, Kaisei competed in the Akasaka mini marathon and finished third, announcing the birth of a new "exercise idol." Earlier on TBS's other popular sports entertainment program SASUKE 2025, member Yoon-gi challenged the course as an actual contestant and showed outstanding athletic ability.
Thai member Turn appeared as Thailand's representative on the TBS variety show "Sekai Kurabete Mitara" (When comparing the world), which aired on the 7th, and discussed various topics centered on spiciness. Turn's warm visuals and versatile all-rounder appeal added vitality to the program.
Ato, Yuya and Kim Geon joined Japanese actor Nakamura Tomoya, who also appears in DREAM STAGE, and were active in the sushi episode of TBS's knowledge-exploration variety show Door x Door Quest (ドアxドア クエスト), which aired on the 9th. They visited Japanese chain stores that have expanded into Korea to sample Korean original menu items and showed vivid reactions, and showcased witty variety skills through recipe battles that used each member's ideas.
On the travel program Watanabe Naomi's zero-night vacation (渡直美のニッポン0泊バカンス), which aired on the 15th, Japanese members Kaisei and Yuya made surprise guest appearances and enjoyed a pleasant meeting with DREAM STAGE's Nakamura Tomoya and Ikeda Eliza. Their warm teamwork raised anticipation for the drama.
With unstoppable momentum that cemented their presence as a "next-generation leading force of the Korean wave," NAZE (Naze) expands its global reach through the Japanese drama DREAM STAGE, which depicts the growth of trainees. NAZE's all-rounder capabilities across music, variety and acting have concentrated domestic and international fans' attention even before their official debut.
The Friday drama DREAM STAGE, featuring NAZE (Naze), premieres at 10 p.m. on the 16th on TBS, and in Korea it can be seen at 11 p.m. on the 17th on Channel J, a Japanese culture specialty channel, and at 9 a.m. on the 18th on the OTT platform TVING (TVING).
Meanwhile, NAZE (Naze) is C9 Entertainment's rookie boy group produced in five years and the company's first multinational boy group since its founding, actively engaging with global fans through vigorous pre-debut activities.
