CORTIS participated in the original soundtrack of a new animated film by a world-class production team.
According to Sony Pictures Animation, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) will sing the insert song "Mention Me" for the new film "GOAT." The track will be released at 2 p.m. KST on Feb. 13.
CORTIS showed their stature by receiving an OST call from a major Hollywood studio just five months after their debut. Other well-known artists on the vocal lineup include Jelly Roll, Bryant Barnes and Ayra Starr.
"GOAT" is a sports action comedy animation being anticipated this year. The studio and production team behind it, which won two awards at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards and sparked the "Golden" syndrome with "K-pop Demon Hunters," have joined forces. In addition, NBA star Stephen Curry is participating as a producer, raising expectations.
Detailed information about CORTIS's first OST "Mention Me" can be found later on "GOAT" and the team's official social media channels.
Meanwhile, CORTIS is building their presence in the global market by collaborating with "big names" across various fields. They recently presented a performance video of the intro track "GO!" from their debut album with Apple as an Apple Immersive Video. On Feb. 12, they were invited as headliners for the NBA Crossover concert series held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the United States. They are the first K-pop artists to perform on that stage.
