Actor Kim Ji-hun has been chosen as the model for premium PDRN-focused skincare brand PYDERIN, extending his presence into the advertising world.
Today (16) his agency Big Picture E&T said Kim Ji-hun was recently selected as PYDERIN's brand model and will begin full-scale advertising and marketing activities. This model selection is being noted as a strategic move to not only raise brand awareness but also strengthen touchpoints with a broader consumer base.
PYDERIN said, "The collaboration with actor Kim Ji-hun is an important turning point for the brand to take a step forward," noting, "We expect Kim Ji-hun's image, which has secured both popularity and credibility through deep acting skills and consistent project activity, to naturally and persuasively convey the brand message of "skin's intrinsic recovery and balance."
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-hun proved an unparalleled presence last year by showing a variety of works to the extent it would not be an exaggeration to call it his prime. He delivered all-around activity through SBS Friday-Saturday drama The Haunted Palace, Amazon Prime series Butterfly, Netflix drama Genie, Make a Wish, TVING original Dear X, tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Nice to Not Meet You, and Netflix variety show Crime Scene Zero.
Thanks to these activities, Kim Ji-hun won the male excellence acting award in the fantasy category at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards, and recently received the multitainer award at the 2026 Korea First Brand Awards, drawing attention as a leading actor for 2026. Through all-around activities spanning dramas, variety shows and advertising, he has proven both popularity and credibility and further solidified his position as an actor.
As he expands his influence through being chosen as a brand model, expectations are growing about what kind of synergy Kim Ji-hun and PYDERIN will show in his future moves.
