Ji Ye-eun conveyed a changed mindset.
On Jan. 15 a video titled "Not Ji Ye-eun but Gym Ye-eun..." was posted on the YouTube channel Kim Jong Kook GYM JONG KOOK.
In the released video, Ji Ye-eun appeared as a guest, and Kim Jong Kook asked her, "It's the new year, but aside from exercise, aren't you studying English?"
Then Ji Ye-eun said, "I'm going to. Also, my resolution for the new year is that I really want to live with a kind heart. If you're human you might get annoyed sometimes, right? I want to be the kind of person who thinks 'that can happen' (I'm going to)," she said, conveying her New Year's goal.
She went on to say, "Even when I see malicious comments, I hope those people receive a lot of love," conveying her changed mindset.
Hearing this, Kim Jong Kook said, "That will be really good for your mental health," but he also gave an example of malicious comments, saying, "What if people call it 'Ji Ye-eun celebrity disease'?"
To this, Ji Ye-eun coolly replied, "I'm a celebrity, aren't I? I am a celebrity," drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Ji Ye-eun temporarily paused activities in November last year due to a decline in health. At the time, some speculated whether the health decline was caused by malicious comments. However, a media outlet later raised suspicions of hypothyroidism, and her agency drew a line, saying, "It is personal medical information so it is difficult to verify."
