Park Myung Soo was taken aback and drew laughter after receiving an unexpected "appearance attack" at a popular Gangneung restaurant.
On the 16th, a video titled 'If you comment Gangneung, I'll give you half-day open-run restaurant information for Gangneung' was released on the YouTube channel "Hal Myung Soo." That day, Park Myung Soo, unable to resist the production team's strong persuasion, set out from Seoul on a day trip to Gangneung.
Arriving in Gangneung from Seoul early in the morning by public transportation, Park Myung Soo started a tour of Gangneung's hidden eateries, saying, "Even if it's hard, I'll go if it's a good restaurant," while grumbling in his characteristic way. The first destination was Geumhak Kalguksu, known in Gangneung for its spicy gukbap-style knife-cut noodles. Park Myung Soo showed his anticipation as he ordered the signature jang-kalguksu.
But before the food arrived, an unexpected situation occurred. The restaurant owner approached and, pointing at Park Myung Soo, asked, "Is that the ugly person?" The unexpected remark instantly turned the scene into a sea of laughter.
Park Myung Soo did not stay silent either. He shot back, "What did you say? You're ugly too, boss. I said you're ugly," then snapped, "Why say that before eating?" which provoked laughter. He added, "I'm not eating! Kyungho, you don't eat either!" grumbling, but as soon as he finished speaking he picked up his spoon and added to the laughter.
After devouring the jang-kalguksu and bean sprout rice, Park Myung Soo changed his tone 180 degrees, praising the food, "Wow, this is really delicious. My stomach feels completely relieved." After finishing the meal, he again made the production team laugh with an offhand remark, casually asking, "Can I fart?"
Park Myung Soo's trademark back-and-forth banter, unfazed by the appearance attack, combined with the power of Gangneung's famous restaurant, left the video with a pleasant laugh that day.
Meanwhile, Park Myung Soo was born in 1970 and turned 55 this year. Since his debut in 1993, he became known through Infinite Challenge, and he remains active through radio, variety shows and YouTube.<
