'Cha Gane' actor Cha Seung-won showcased his Live Up to Your Name cooking skills using local Thai ingredients and captivated Choo Sung Hoon's taste buds.
On the afternoon of the 15th, the tvN program 'Cha Gane' aired, continuing the Bangkok business trip of the Cha Gane team, who set out to develop sauces in search of new and diverse spiciness.
Choo Sung Hoon asked Cha Seung-won, "What did you do, hyung?" and Cha Seung-won replied, "I made kimchi," boasting about his cooking skills. Cha Seung-won displayed a special touch by completing the kimchi using Thai fish sauce instead of Korean ingredients.
Cha Seung-won, who brought the finished kimchi, handed it to Choo Sung Hoon and urged, "Eat with wooden chopsticks. Don't keep touching it with your saliva," showing strict hygiene awareness. Sniffing the kimchi, Choo Sung Hoon exclaimed, "Oh, it smells good," and after tasting it said, "Wow, this is tasty," lavishly praising that it tasted like Thailand. Choo Sung Hoon added, "If it had a little more time, it would probably taste even better," expressing his anticipation.
But the warm atmosphere lasted only a short time; an incident occurred while Cha Seung-won was absent. Choo Sung Hoon was caught eating kimchi with a chopstick that might have had saliva on it. Cha Seung-won, who learned of it belatedly, confronted Choo Sung Hoon.
Choo Sung Hoon calmly explained, "There is no saliva on it. If you hold it like this, it doesn't get on it. I have a sense," acting nonchalant. Cha Seung-won, seeming exasperated, said, "All right, fine, let's just drop it," and ultimately showed resignation, turning the scene into a burst of laughter.
