Blackpink has excited fans around the world with news of a full-group new release, and heated up comeback momentum by earning a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for "뛰어(JUMP)".
RIAA announced on its official website on the 15th (local time) that Blackpink's "뛰어(JUMP)" had recorded more than 500,000 cumulative units as of Dec. 11, 2025, earning gold certification.
RIAA awards certifications by aggregating U.S. album sales, paid digital downloads, and audio and video streaming figures. The single "뛰어(JUMP)", released without a physical album, achieved 75 million streams—the equivalent of 500,000 units—based on streaming figures alone, securing the certification.
In addition, "뛰어(JUMP)" qualified for platinum certification from Music Canada, and in France earned SNEP single platinum certification after reaching 30 million streams. It also added gold certifications in Australia, Belgium, New Zealand and the Netherlands, reaffirming Blackpink's dominant standing across major music markets worldwide, including North America and Europe.
Their presence remains solid on other global charts as well. "뛰어(JUMP)" was the fastest K-pop girl group song to surpass 300 million streams on Spotify and has now exceeded 470 million streams. It logged 10 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a new team record for longest chart run, and has remained on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) charts for 26 weeks.
Meanwhile, Blackpink will release mini album 3 [DEADLINE] on Feb. 27. It is the group's first full-group album in about 3 years and 5 months since the second studio album [BORN PINK], and strong reactions are already building to the return of these world-class artists. The release is expected to clearly mark Blackpink's current state and future direction and to once again capture everyone's hearts.
