The group ENHYPEN returned as 'dopamine-addicted' vampires who even enjoy extreme thrills.
ENHYPEN (Jeongwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) uploaded the music video for the title track Knife from their mini album 7 THE SIN : VANISH to the HYBE Labels YouTube channel at 2 p.m. today (16).
The music video opens with an urgent breaking news alert saying seven vampires who broke the taboo and were wanted have appeared in the city.
ENHYPEN's rough and bold side stands out. The members narrowly dodge blades that constantly fly toward them while maintaining a composed air. Even in threatening situations, the unflappable Sunoo, Jake with a calm expression even when a coffee cup breaks, and Sunghoon nonchalantly kicking away a scraper that falls perilously overhead all show members who are unconcerned by danger, which is captivating.
As the video progresses, the thrill and pleasure ENHYPEN feels gradually reach a climax. Flames shoot up, multiple vehicles drift violently and close in on them, and even surrounded by a swarm of reporters, the members defiantly perform intense group choreography that delivers a jolt. The image of 'dopamine-addicted' vampires who even treat taboos as play is revealed without reserve. Dynamic and bold camera moving direction further maximizes the video's immersion.
The performance also induces visual pleasure. ENHYPEN pours out their signature powerful energy and delivers precise, blade-angle choreography. In particular, the point choreography that shapes a sharp blade with the hand is both intuitive and sophisticated, leaving a strong impression on viewers' minds. Their cool expressions as they transform into a "vampire gang" are also a highlight.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will first perform the new song on KBS2's MUSIC BANK, which airs at 5 p.m. on the 16th. They will then hold a fan showcase at Hwajung Gymnasium, Korea University, in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, and meet ENGENE (fandom name). The showcase can also be enjoyed via online live streaming.
