Singer Tei recounted a harrowing moment from a past trip to Thailand when he suffered burns over his entire body and returned home in a wheelchair.
On the 15th, a video titled "End-of-century balladeers all together. If it were me I'd leave a cold l Lee Ki-chan Tei Na Yoon-kwon" was posted on the YouTube channel "Cho Hyun-a's ordinary Thursday night."
That day, Lee Ki-chan, Tei and Na Yoon-kwon appeared and shared updates and memories.
When travel stories came up, Na Yoon-kwon said, "My first trip abroad was to Thailand and I went with Tei hyung," adding, "There was even an article saying the two of us went on a honeymoon," which drew laughter.
He went on, "He even entered the country in a wheelchair, and I pushed that wheelchair in," to which Tei replied, "I never thought of it that way," prompting roaring laughter.
Na Yoon-kwon also explained why Tei ended up in a wheelchair. He recalled, "In Thailand it's so hot between midnight and 2 a.m. that even locals don't go out much. But because we were feeling the sea breeze on a yacht, we didn't realize how hot it was and both took off our clothes to tan."
He continued, "He fell asleep like that, and afterward suffered second- to third-degree burns over his entire body. On the way back he collapsed in the car," which surprised everyone. Tei also recalled, "The breeze was so cool I didn't realize how hot it was."
Meanwhile, Tei debuted in 2004 with "Love…leaves a fragrance" and was loved as a leading ballad singer with hits such as "Resembling person" and "Same pillow." Recently he has expanded his activities into variety shows, musicals and the restaurant business, continuing to be active in many fields.
