Artist and producer ZICO and Crush's new song was released as a digital single at 12 a.m. on the 16th.
The new song "Yin and Yang" is a collaboration between ZICO and Crush, who formed a producer team on Mnet's "Show Me the Money 12." The two worked together on lyrics, composition, and arrangement to create a highly complete sound. ZICO's heavy rap and Crush's smooth tone blend with dense beats. Like light and darkness intersecting, the lyrics express a mindset of not losing a relaxed attitude even in harsh realities. Short, powerful words such as "Burn Lights / Dark Side / We got the Yin and Yang" follow, creating a freestyle rap–like atmosphere.
"Yin and Yang" was pre-released on the 8th with a producer cypher video and drew intense interest. The video uploaded to Mnet's YouTube channel surpassed 1 million views in six days, recording the highest view count among producer cyphers.
Attention is also on ZICO's production capabilities to be shown on "Show Me the Money 12." He drew attention on the first broadcast, which aired at 9:20 p.m. on the 15th, for his "spot-on judging," offering sharp and meticulous advice to contestants. Having appeared as a producer on seasons 4 and 6 and led contestants to runner-up and winner positions, attention is focused on his performance this time.
Meanwhile, ZICO continues active work as an artist. On Feb. 7, he will hold a solo concert, "2026 ZICO LIVE: TOKYO DRIVE," at Keio Arena Tokyo in Tokyo. It is his first solo performance in Japan in eight years.
