'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' Moon Jeong-hee presents a 1℃ table.
On Jan. 16, KBS 2TV's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' (hereinafter 'Fun-Staurant'/directed by Yoon Byung-il) will reveal the winter immunity-boosting secret tips of Moon Gil-dong's guest chef Moon Jeong-hee, who receives produce directly from the source. Through 'Fun-Staurant,' Moon Jeong-hee, who rose as an icon of low-speed aging, will introduce know-how for protecting health by raising body temperature 1℃ in winter through food. Questions remain about what dishes will make up Moon Jeong-hee's 1℃ table.
In the VCR shown that day, Moon Jeong-hee ran excitedly to the door at the sound of the doorbell 'ding-dong.' True to her nickname "Moon Gil-dong who receives produce directly from the source," Moon Jeong-hee had received seasonal ingredients shipped straight from the production area. The seasonal ingredient she chose that day was whole perilla seeds from Hongcheon, Gangwon Province. When the Fun-Staurant members were surprised by the unexpectedly large amount of perilla seeds, Moon Jeong-hee said, "Perilla seeds warm the body," adding, "I will give some to Chef Lee Yeon-bok, too."
Moon Jeong-hee said, "My hands and feet tend to be a bit cold. I think it's because my blood circulation isn't good," and noted, "They say that even raising body temperature by 1℃ in winter greatly increases immunity," emphasizing how important maintaining a warm body is for health. Accordingly, Moon Jeong-hee prepared the so-called "1℃ table," which can raise body temperature through food.
The foods Moon Jeong-hee presented as the "1℃ table" that day were three dishes in total: rice cooked with ingredients that warm the body, shabu-shabu, and baeksuk (boiled chicken). Using healthy ingredients, the menu was said to be fantastic in taste as well. In addition, simple recipes that anyone can easily follow drew attention and reportedly stimulated the Fun-Staurant members' cooking instincts.
Watching Moon Jeong-hee's "1℃ table" on the VCR, special MC and bride-to-be getting married in May, Apink's Bomi, exclaimed, "That looks really delicious." When Moon Jeong-hee said, "Bomi, I should invite you to my house sometime," Bomi immediately replied, "Please be sure to invite me," turning the studio into a sea of laughter. Moon Jeong-hee's "1℃ table," which even Apink's Bomi fell for, will be revealed on KBS 2TV's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' on Friday, Jan. 16 at 8:30 p.m.
