"In Your Radiant Season" opened the curtain on an unpredictable romance through Chae Jong Hyeop's first still.
The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama In Your Radiant Season, scheduled to premiere on Feb. 20 at 9:50 p.m., (planned by Namgung Seongwoo, written by Jo Seonghee, directed by Jeong Sanghee and Kim Youngjae) depicts an unpredictable "radiant" romance in which Chan, a man who lives every day like an exhilarating summer vacation, and Ran, a woman who has locked herself in winter, meet as if by fate and awaken frozen time.
Chae Jong Hyeop plays Sun Woo-chan, an animator belonging to a world-renowned animation studio. Chan is a character who, beneath a sunny, cheerful exterior, lives with deep wounds from a mysterious accident in his past. But through his meeting with Ha-ran, he confronts unimaginable secrets and faces a new phase in his life.
The stills released today (the 15th) fully capture the charm of the Sun Woo-chan character, who makes even the small moments of daily life feel special. Chae Jong Hyeop completes an instant "save-inducing boyfriend photo" with a natural smile and an adorably expressive face.
Contrary to his bright appearance, Sun Woo-chan is a character who harbors deep wounds he does not easily reveal to anyone. Since miraculously surviving death's door seven years ago, Chan strives to live each day like an exciting vacation. But beneath that, a hidden mysterious accident and unresolved truths remain, foreshadowing unpredictable developments.
The production team of In Your Radiant Season said, "Chae Jong Hyeop is expected to portray Sun Woo-chan's coexistence of brightness and wounds with his characteristic warm and delicate emotional acting," and added, "Please look forward to his performance that will captivate living room audiences by carefully conveying even the layers of his inner self hidden behind his smile."
