"Enjoy Couple" Im Rara delivered an update that she handled delayed hospital appointments while her husband Son Minsu was filming 'The Return of SUPERMAN'.
On the 14th a video titled "What will mom do on the Superman filming day? The twin dad's first solo parenting" was uploaded to the "Enjoy Couple" channel.
On that day Son Minsu and Im Rara, the couple, shared the happy news, "Our Enjoy Couple's Kang twins have joined 'The Return of SUPERMAN' thanks to all of you." Son Minsu said, "Again I sincerely thank you. Because you all like us and like Kang and Dani, we were able to appear on a good show," greeting everyone.
He worried a lot even about appearing, but Son Minsu said, "The biggest reason is that if I watch the babies alone like Superman, maybe Lala can buy a little more time to recover. Even when I told her to go she worried and wouldn't leave, but this time the producers are here so she could leave."
Im Rara also said, "It became an environment where she could leave. First, the writer in charge is also a working mom who raises her own child, so she helped a lot with baby care and there are many caregivers. The staff who came had whooping cough shots and experts were in place, so I could go to the hospital more at ease than I thought. So I can actively treat my wrist more and as you can see here the pruritus hasn't healed yet. There are really many hospitals I have to visit. If I don't manage my health I won't be a mom who can make good memories with the babies, so I'll fully entrust the twins to Minsu."
Son Minsu vowed, "I may be a little inexperienced now but please watch as I gradually improve." Im Rara said, "I am really a 'The Return of SUPERMAN' listener and I did a lot of prenatal education watching the babies' videos. The best thing was the babies' truly beautiful moments, we can leave many memories with Minsu and especially the real side of twin parenting that we wanted to show but couldn't, I thought the professional 'The Return of SUPERMAN' team could film. I thought they would supplement the disappointing parts that can't be captured on YouTube, so after much thought I decided to appear. At last the 'Superman' filming day arrived, and Im Rara left the house after preparing snacks for the production team. She worried, "Today while Minsu films 'Superman' all day I will run three hospital schedules. I'm so worried. It will be hard for Minsu alone. He will cry a lot. This is a big problem, a big problem."
Afterward Im Rara visited orthopedics and received shockwave treatment for her wrist. She lamented, "I didn't think the tenosynovitis would heal. I even got injections but it still hurts a lot. They say it heals if you don't use it and rest, but I can't not use it and rest. If my wrist didn't hurt I'd hold the baby more, but I can't hold them much."
After finishing treatment Im Rara ate at a café and said, "Keeping up with hospital schedules is hard. It must be harder for Minsu, right? What can we do. I'm sorry to enjoy this leisure alone. This is something you feel deeply when parenting, and many advise to spend time alone without the baby, but honestly it's almost impossible. You have to each take solo duty to give the other free time, so we're trying to create free wife, free husband time, but my mind isn't at ease because I know how hard it is. I'm so worried even now," pouring out her concerns for Son Minsu and the children.
She continued, "I wondered why parenting is so hard, and it's because if we make even a small mistake the baby can get a serious injury, so we work in a state of high tension all day. So no matter how much Minsu built his body with the gym it's useless. I thought feeling freedom alone would be nice but that doesn't seem to be the case. For now the worried feelings seem bigger," adding, "I have to go to the oriental clinic quickly and then go back in. I've fallen for the kids' charm," revealing her affection for the children.
Meanwhile Son Minsu and Im Rara married in 2023 and welcomed fraternal twins Kang I and Dani via in vitro fertilization. But Im Rara, who suffered from pruritus during pregnancy, faced a crisis with sudden postpartum hemorrhage while recovering after delivery. At the time, because of emergency room shuttling and severe bleeding she was in a critical condition, but she reportedly survived the crisis after receiving a transfusion.<
