TWS member Jihoon, who recently suffered the loss of his father, will not attend scheduled activities.
On Jan. 15, agency Pledis Entertainment posted a notice on the fan community platform Weverse saying, "Notice regarding TWS member Jihoon's upcoming schedule."
That day the agency said, "Jihoon will not be able to attend the Beijing fan signing event scheduled for Jan. 17 (Sat) and 18 (Sun) to commemorate the release of TWS 4th mini album "play hard". We ask for fans' understanding."
It went on, "Jihoon's participation in future schedules may be adjusted flexibly depending on circumstances, and if additional guidance is needed we will announce it separately later," and closed the post by saying, "Please send warm condolences to Jihoon, and we thank the 42 fans who always support TWS."
Earlier, on Jan. 12 the agency announced Jihoon's father's passing. At the time Pledis said, "Jihoon is currently keeping vigil at the funeral home, and the funeral will be held with family and relatives in accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family. Please offer warm condolences and consideration so Jihoon can have sufficient time to mourn with his family."
Meanwhile, TWS, which Jihoon is part of, released mini album 4 "play hard" in Oct. last year and received great love for the title track "OVERDRIVE".
