'Brave Detective4' digs into the truth behind a brutal murder.
The 67th episode of T-cast E Channel's 'Brave Detective4' (directed by Lee Ji-seon), airing on the 16th, features former commissioner Yoon Oe-chul of the scientific investigation unit (KCSI), detective Kim Jin Soo, inspector Kim Na-jin, and detectives Lee Song-gi and Kim Soo-won, who reveal their investigation logs. Singer Hanhae and actor Lee Jun will return as guests and are expected to be active on the show.
The first case introduced in that episode begins when a man comes to the police station with an unbelievable tip, saying that a friend he had been drinking with told him, "I killed the girlfriend I was dating and buried the body somewhere." When detectives immediately checked the shop run by the friend's girlfriend, they found that the woman had not been seen for more than ten days.
Detectives staked out in front of the one-room apartment where the two had lived together and encountered the male friend of the tipster. But the items he was holding in both hands looked unusual. Moreover, none of the woman's family members could be reached, and it turned out the missing person was not just the girlfriend. Could this man really have killed his partner and secretly buried the body?
The second case begins with a 119 report that "a young woman is lying in a pool of blood on the apartment stairs." The victim, who had collapsed propped against a wall, was rushed to the hospital but ultimately died; stab wounds were also found on her chest, abdomen and the backs of her thighs. It appeared the perpetrator chased and relentlessly attacked the fleeing victim.
Several residents testified that they heard the woman's screams at the time of the incident, and a witness said they saw a man calmly leaving the apartment at the same time. Based on the man's description, detectives tracked CCTV footage and became convinced this was not a spontaneous crime. The shocking part was that the perpetrator had no connection to the victim.
Ahn Jung-hwan says, "He thoroughly prepared this as a planned crime." Kim Sunyoung also says, "It gives me the creeps," showing her anger. The identity of the perpetrator and the motive, which no one expected, can be confirmed on 'Brave Detective4.'
Meanwhile, 'Brave Detective4' airs every Friday at 9:50 p.m., and is also available on major OTTs such as Netflix, TVING and WAVVE. <
