Annie of the group ALLDAY PROJECT graced her first solo fashion magazine cover since debut.
Annie appears as the cover model for Harper's Bazaar Korea's February issue.
The title of this cover is "Graceful but fierce," capturing Annie's dual charm of elegance and ferocity. Annie moves freely between different characters in each shot, revealing a new face and a deep presence not seen before.
In an interview conducted after the shoot, Annie said, "I also don't think I can define the colors inside me as just one. So whether I'm on stage or shooting, I try to express my multilayered self in a balanced way."
Although ALLDAY PROJECT swept rookie awards last year and had a successful debut, she also revealed her philosophy on the success she dreams of. Annie said, "I don't have a clearly defined standard for success. If I had to pick one, it might be becoming a group that can one day do a world tour. Actually, right now I feel more strongly about steadily building a career I can be proud of than the abstract word 'success.' Originally I'm the type who doesn't easily feel satisfied with myself. To look at it positively, maybe that means I can continue to be someone who keeps improving. Perhaps that process itself will be the thing that most closely resembles the success I dream of," she said.
Annie attracted attention even before her debut as the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group's chairwoman Lee Myung-hee and the eldest daughter of Chung Yoo-kyung, chair of Shinsegae. She majored in art history and visual arts at Columbia University. Annie plans to return to school in the spring semester of 2026 and stay in the United States to focus on her studies.
