JYP's boy group KickFlip was named one of Shazam's "artists to watch in 2026."
On the 13th, according to Shazam, Apple Music's music discovery app, KickFlip ranked in the K-pop section of "Shazam Fast Forward 2026" with the title track "The first song I sing" from their third mini album My First Flip.
"Shazam Fast Forward 2026" is an annual list that predicts and spotlights promising artists who are expected to lead the music market this year and beyond, focusing on artists gaining attention on Shazam. It is selected based on Shazam's predictive data and the expertise of Apple Music global editors, and this year's "Shazam Fast Forward 2026" features a total of 65 artists spanning 20 genres across 22 countries.
KickFlip reached a peak position of 48 on the Apple Music South Korea popularity chart last September with the title track "The first song I sing" from their third mini album My First Flip, staying on the chart for more than 50 days and earning a spot on the list.
Earlier, KickFlip's "The first song I sing" also appeared on Billboard's "The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025: Staff Picks." In their debut year, KickFlip, praised for solid skills and boundless potential, earned the label "K-pop super rookie," increasing attention in the global music market and proving their potential once again.
Riding the momentum, KickFlip will mark their first anniversary on the 20th by embarking on their first fan concert national tour, 2026 KickFlip FAN-CON "From KickFlip, To WeFlip." Starting with concerts in Seoul on Jan. 17–18, they will perform a total of 12 shows in five cities nationwide — Busan on the 24th, Gwangju on the 31st, Cheongju on Feb. 21, and Daegu on the 28th — creating unforgettable first-anniversary memories with fans.
