MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama In Your Radiant Season released the first still of Lee Sung-kyoung, announcing the start of an emotional romance.
Scheduled to premiere at 9:50 p.m. on Feb. 20, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama In Your Radiant Season (planning Namgung Seong-woo, writer Jo Seong-hee, director Jeong Sang-hee, Kim Young-jae, produced by Pan Entertainment) is a work that depicts an unpredictable "radiant" romance in which Chan, a man who lives every day like an exciting summer vacation, and Ran, a woman who has locked herself in winter, meet as if by fate and awaken frozen time.
In the drama, Lee Sung-kyoung plays Song Ha-ran, the chief designer of Korea's top high-end fashion house "Nana Atelier." Having lost loved ones, Ha-ran lives with a strong defensive wall, not letting anyone into her domain out of the fear that she might lose someone precious again.
In the stills released on the 14th, Lee Sung-kyoung delicately captured Song Ha-ran's inner self with styling that exudes a high-end mood and a restrained expression. Her flawless visuals, calm gaze and upright posture convey the coolness of a chief designer who lives a perfect daily life, while also fully communicating the loneliness and wounds hidden behind her smile.
After an unexpected accident in the past, Song Ha-ran, who locked herself in a cold winter, no longer easily opens her heart to anyone. But the stills also include the Ha-ran of the past, who lived her days with a bright smile before the accident, creating a contrast. As curiosity grows about the story that led her to draw a line with the world, expectations rise that Lee Sung-kyoung's distinctive delicate emotional acting will naturally connect through Song Ha-ran's deep inner self, which differs from her flashy exterior.
