Actor Jeong I-rang joins "Undercover Miss Hong," continuing a busy streak.
The new tvN Saturday-Sunday drama Undercover Miss Hong, directed by Park Seon-ho / written by Moon Hyun-kyung / planned by Studio Dragon / produced by Celltrion Entertainment, Studio Dragon, which is scheduled to premiere at 9:10 p.m. on Saturday the 17th, is an office comedy drama set in the late 1990s about 30-something elite securities inspector Hong Geum-bo (Park Shinhye) who, after the flow of suspicious funds is detected at a securities firm, goes undercover as a 20-year-old low-level employee and the ensuing chaotic events
Jeong I-rang plays Kim Nam-joo, the superintendent of a dormitory for unmarried female workers in Seoul. Although strict and stern on the surface, she is a character with a warm heart who secretly helps the unmarried women with stability and independence, and Jeong I-rang's distinctive humane performance will add to the character and enhance the drama's completeness.
Having won public affection on SNL Korea for her distinctive characters and flavorful sketch comedy, Jeong I-rang recently launched a YouTube channel, "Jeong I-rang's Jingimyeonggi," showcasing even more varied characters and comedic acting and drawing public attention. The future of actor Jeong I-rang, who is expanding into drama, film and variety, is highly anticipated.
