'Noppakku' Tak Jae-Hoon and Shin Jeong-hwan mentioned the time when Ruila was active.
On the 14th, the 'Noppakku Tak Jae-Hoon' channel uploaded a video titled "Shin Jeong-hwan, the icon of self-restraint who refuses to wear even a Moncler padding despite the crazy cold wave."
That day, Shin Jeong-hwan appeared as a guest on 'Noppakku Tak Jae-Hoon', reuniting Country KkoKko after about eight years, and Tak Jae-Hoon asked, "What songs do you mainly perform at events?" Shin Jeong-hwan mentioned Country KkoKko songs such as 'Oh! Happy', 'Oh, My Julia', and 'Conga', and Tak Jae-Hoon asked, "Don't you perform Ruila songs?"
In response, Shin Jeong-hwan said, "We can't because too many members are missing. Too many are missing. Because Lee Sang-min can't do makgeolli rap," and Tak Jae-Hoon asked, "How many members were there in Ruila?" Shin Jeong-hwan revealed, "There were four."
Ruila originally started with Lee Sang-min, Go Young-wook, Shin Jeong-hwan and Kim Ji-hyun, but all the male members became embroiled in illegal incidents and controversies, causing public outcry. Since the 2010s, only Lee Sang-min, Kim Ji-hyun and Chae Ri-na have performed on stage as Ruila members.
Then Tak Jae-Hoon remarked, "Looking at Ruila now, it's like a thriller group; the men were disappearing," and Shin Jeong-hwan agreed, saying, "It's a mystery."
Tak Jae-Hoon asked, "Do you acknowledge that?" and Shin Jeong-hwan explained, "But for me it was because of military enlistment. I didn't leave (the group) voluntarily." Shin Jeong-hwan left the team due to military enlistment in 2995, after which Chae Ri-na newly joined.
When asked, "Where did you go, the military?" Shin Jeong-hwan explained, "I went to a special forces brigade, then to a U.N. dispatch. I went to Angola in Africa as a U.N. soldier."
