ILLIT member Wonhee of the girl group ILLIT unleashes the charm of a "variety show rookie" to the fullest through Radio Star.
The MBC variety show 'Radio Star,' which airs today (14th), is presented as a "national OOO" special featuring Park Geun-hyung, Song Ok-sook, Choi Hyun-woo and Wonhee.
Wonhee, making her first terrestrial network talk-variety appearance, turns the studio into a sea of laughter with the boldness and fresh enthusiasm of being "20 years old." Turning 20 this year in 2026, he pours out stories of a freer daily life that are different from before.
Wonhee draws attention by saying, "I'm no longer a minor!" and telling how she celebrated becoming an adult by drinking with her parents. She also says that ILLIT members usually like horror movies, and now she can proudly walk into late-night horror screenings with her shoulders back, prompting laughter.
Wonhee then mentions times when people around her teased her, saying, "It's something you can't hear because you're a minor," and displays confidence by saying, "But I'm 20 now. Tell me about it." which provokes bursts of laughter.
Wonhee also reveals a secretive challenge, saying, "Actually, I even bought alcohol yesterday," and captivates everyone's attention with the episode of buying alcohol for the first time at a convenience store, saying, "I didn't drink it; I just wanted to try buying it once."
Ahead of paying, when asked to show her ID, Wonhee comically reenacts taking out her ID as if she had been waiting for that moment. She adds to the laughter by revealing, "I pretended to be an unruffled adult," and that she had pre-set her ID at the very front of her wallet. When MC Kim Gu Ra said, "You'll get your driver's license soon too," Wonhee explains her nickname "Hamborgini" and reveals her unreserved dream of one-handed driving. It airs tonight at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
