'Whenever there's a chance' actor Kwon Sang Woo provoked laughter with his confession of being 'half a hundred years old.'
On the 13th episode of SBS entertainment program 'Whenever there's a chance,' MC Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeon-seok appeared with Kwon Sang Woo and Moon Chae-won as 'chance friends.'
In that episode, Kwon Sang Woo and Moon Chae-won drew attention with their natural chemistry. The two have a connection, having played lovers in a work about 10 years ago. Yoo Yeon-seok praised their vibe, saying, "newlywed couple visuals." When Kwon Sang Woo complimented, "Moon Chae-won is at her peak in this work," Moon Chae-won responded, "Kwon Sang Woo is also at his peak," creating a warm atmosphere.
The reunion of Yoo Yeon-seok and Moon Chae-won was especially a hot topic. The two met again after 10 years but gave off an awkward atmosphere. Moon Chae-won explained, "We appeared as a couple before," and Yoo Yeon-seok elicited laughs with his honest reaction, "I thought we were close, but it seems not." They said they later ran into each other again on You Quiz on the Block.
Another highlight of the episode was Kwon Sang Woo's "reflections in his 50s." Yu Jae-seok expressed surprise, saying, "The last time I saw Sang Woo on a show was 11 years ago. Is he already 50?" Kwon Sang Woo calmly said, "I'm a 1976-born. I'm now half a hundred years old. I'm not embarrassed at all." Kwon Sang Woo confessed his changed mindset, saying, "In my 40s I felt emptiness about numbers, but 50 has become more comfortable. I no longer cling to things." Hearing this, Yu Jae-seok joked, "Being born in 1976 doesn't suit me. Cha Taehyun is like that too," turning the set into a sea of laughter.
Kwon Sang Woo also candidly revealed about his relationship with Yu Jae-seok, "Actually we didn't meet often. I thought the senior would be very busy," and the 'not close but close' relationship between the two added another layer of fun.
