Jennie and Dex come together for the new variety show "Manitto Club."
On the 13th, MBC said the new variety program "Manitto Club" will premiere on Feb. 1 at 6:10 p.m.
"Manitto Club" is a real variety show in which surprises are delivered without revealing identities. In the first-round cast are Blackpink's Jennie, YouTuber Dex, former mixed martial artist Choo Sung Hoon, broadcaster Ro Hong-chul, and comedian Lee Suji. The five cast members living their daily lives receive mysterious invitations at unexpected times and are invited to Manitto Club.
The first phase of "Manitto Club" is an individual competition that reinterprets the nostalgic "manitto" game, a fierce game of wits where participants hide and detect identities. There, members are expected to experience unexpected excitement and pure joy in the very process of secretly preparing and delivering gifts for someone.
After the individual manitto ends, the "secret manitto" follows, in which members become one team rather than individuals and embark on undercover gift missions to give a special day to more people. The process in which an individual's small gesture expands into a group event is expected to deliver both rousing laughter and warm resonance.
