Actor Go Min-si will appear in the film "Moral Family."
On the 13th, a representative of her agency Mystic Story told OSEN that "actor Go Min-si will appear in the film 'Moral Family'."
"Moral Family (working title)" is a film adaptation of the play of the same name and is reported to portray the cheerful survival story of four siblings, each with distinct personalities, styles and secrets. Among them, Go Min-si is expected to appear as the eldest daughter.
Go Min-si, who rose to stardom with the Netflix series "Sweet Home," the drama "Youth of May," and the films "The Witch" and "Smuggling," was embroiled last year in controversy after allegations of school bullying from her school days surfaced. Her side strongly denied the allegations, calling them "clear falsehoods."
In particular, Go Min-si herself posted a strong rebuttal, saying, "I can say with certainty that I never committed school violence." She then sued the accuser for defamation. Relatedly, her side said, "The investigation is under way and we are cooperating faithfully."
"Moral Family" has completed major casting and is scheduled to begin filming in March.
