Actor Choi Jin-hyuk delivered a fortune-telling result that perfectly matched Positively Yours.
On the afternoon of the 13th at The Link Seoul Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul, Channel A held a production presentation for the new drama Positively Yours. Director Kim Jin-seong and actors Choi Jin-hyuk, Oh Yeon-seo, Hong Jong Hyun and Kim Dasom attended the production presentation and talked.
Positively Yours, based on a web novel of the same name, is a runaway romantic comedy about a one-night fling between a man and a woman who vowed there would be no marriage in this life.
In the work, Kim Dasom plays Hwang Mi-ran, a manager at Taehan Hotel and a close friend who is like a reliable older sister to Hee-won. Hwang Mi-ran is a character who forms a love triangle between her close friend Jang Hee-won (played by Oh Yeon-seo) and Cha Min-wook (played by Hong Jong Hyun). When asked what choice she would make in real life as a character who struggles between love and friendship, Kim Dasom candidly said, "I think it's hard to find true love or true friendship. If it were me this year, I would choose friendship. I think friendship is a value that lasts a little longer for me."
But Choi Jin-hyuk, now in his 40s, said, "I am love. You can always find friendship. Now that I'm older... it's not easy to find. It's not Minesweeper..." and laughed.
In particular, Choi Jin-hyuk said, "Two years ago I went to see a fortune-teller from My Little Old Boy, Mr. Lee Geon-ju. He said I would have a baby in '26. I was so surprised. I asked, 'Then will I get married?' and he said that was also possible. The more time passed, the more amazing it felt.
