"Same bed, different dreams season 2" showed completely opposite sides of Jeon Tae-poong and his wife.
On the episode aired on the 12th of SBS entertainment program "Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 - You Are My Destiny," the starkly different daily life of former basketball player Jeon Tae-poong and his wife was revealed.
In that episode, childcare and housework were mostly the wife's responsibility. While Jeon Tae-poong slept through the early morning, his wife got up alone to prepare meals for the three i-dle and see them off to school. In her pajamas and on an empty stomach, after sending the i-dle to school, she drove back home for more than two hours, a sight that elicited viewers' sympathy.
By contrast, Jeon Tae-poong said he had hardly ever taken part in morning childcare, and his wife said, "I tried leaving the housework to my husband, but it was actually harder," explaining why she took on childcare and housework herself.
Later, a scene was shown of Jeon Tae-poong coming home late after drinking. He smoked on the house terrace, and the panelists expressed surprise, saying, "A father of three should quit smoking." Jeon Tae-poong reflected on himself, saying, "I haven't changed to that extent yet. I need to change more."
The problem was what he did afterward. With the smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke still on him and without even washing his hands, he approached his sleeping wife and attempted physical affection, which she found unpleasant and rejected. This revealed a 'skinship dilemma' between the couple.
The couple's "shared shower" story that followed also became a hot topic. The wife revealed, "During the shower my husband spits," adding, "At that moment the mood is completely ruined," and Jeon Tae-poong bowed his head, saying, "I don't know why I did that either. I'm getting kicked out now," and, "I need mind control."
