The film Heartman, which is bringing cheerful energy to theaters in the new year of 2026, is finally set to open tomorrow and is kicking off an intense promotional relay.
The film Heartman (director Choi Won-seop, distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Movierock · Like M Company) is a comedy that unfolds as Seung-min, the returning man (Kwon Sang Woo), struggles to avoid losing his first love after they reunite, but a secret he can never tell her arises.
The stars of Heartman, Kwon Sang Woo and Moon Chae-won, are starting an intense promotional relay ahead of tomorrow's opening.
First, today (the 13th) at 8 a.m. Kwon Sang Woo will open the day by appearing on SBS Power FM's Kim Young-chul's Power FM. Through the live radio broadcast, Kwon Sang Woo will candidly share his thoughts on the release of Heartman, talk about reuniting with director Choi Won-seop following the Hitman series, and honestly unpack the laughter and emotional nuances contained in the Seung-min character. His trademark frank talk and relaxed energy will offer morning commuters a different kind of enjoyment.
Then, at 9 p.m. the same day, Kwon Sang Woo and Moon Chae-won will appear together on SBS's Whenever Possible, bringing another charm. Within the program concept that targets everyday "gaps," the two actors are expected to captivate viewers not only with the chemistry from Heartman but also with playful rapport and realistic talk that go beyond the film. In particular, having become Yu Jae-seok's "NEW spatula," they will show an all-out competitive side that bursts with dopamine, and while the two create laughter in the film through unpredictable relational rhythms, expectations are rising about what kind of chemistry they will display on variety television.
Riding a reservation surge for Korean films and continuing three-dimensional promotion through radio and variety shows, Heartman will be available in theaters nationwide on the 14th.
