The event was attended by the male and female leads Go Youn-jung and Kim Seon-ho, and director Yoo Young-eun, and under the moderation of broadcaster Park Kyung-rim they discussed the drama.
"Is this love interpretable?" is an unpredictable romantic comedy drama that unfolds when multilingual interpreter Joo Ho-jin (Kim Seon-ho) becomes the interpreter for global top star Cha Mu-hee (Go Youn-jung). In particular, it is the new work by writer sisters Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran, known as the Hong sisters, who received praise for series including "Braveful Chunhyang", "My Girl", "Fantastic Couple", "The Return of Iljimae", "You're Beautiful", "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho", "The Greatest Love", "Master's Sun", "Hotel Del Luna", and "Alchemy of Souls". Director Yoo Young-eun, who received praise for KBS 2TV's "Bloody Heart", directed to enhance the visual beauty.
Above all, trending actress Go Youn-jung draws attention by taking on the role of Cha Mu-hee, an unknown actress who overnight becomes a global top star. Go Youn-jung reunites with the Hong sisters following the "Alchemy of Souls" series.
Regarding this, Go Youn-jung said, "Mu-hee suddenly becomes a top star. While she is happy, she also feels anxiety that this celebration could end at any time, and at the same time the excitement, anxiety and suspicion of meeting new people—I paid attention to expressing those various emotions."
Director Yoo Young-eun also said, "Joo Ho-jin and Cha Mu-hee are polar opposites. Cha Mu-hee is transparent and honest. She says things that aren't linguistically organized, but in that way her boldness and transparency felt aligned with Go Youn-jung. On set she naturally prepared those things, so I felt, 'She is so Mu-hee-like,'" and added, "If you watch the drama to the end, you'll see charms of Go Youn-jung that you haven't seen before," expressing confidence in the casting.
Go Youn-jung, who attracted attention for being unusually nervous on the red carpet, also stood on the red carpet in "Is this love interpretable?" Go Youn-jung laughed, "My real experience was reflected, but not very much," and joked, "During filming I walked back and forth on that red carpet about 20 times, so there were many take cuts and I wasn't nervous at all." She added, "I think I paid a little more attention in scenes where she meets someone."
He also drew laughter by saying of her synchronicity with Cha Mu-hee, "I think it's 50%." Go Youn-jung explained, "I want to say she loves her job very much, and that she is enjoying it."
"Is this love interpretable?" will be released as a 12-episode series on the 16th.
