Danielle, who was expelled from the group NewJeans, speaks up for the first time.
Danielle's representative, the law firm Hwawoo, said on the 12th that Danielle will hold a "Live Message" at 7 p.m. that day to meet fans directly through her personal social media channels.
This live message will be a moment for Danielle to convey her heartfelt feelings to the fans who have stood by her for a long time, and it will be streamed live via her personal YouTube channel and Instagram.
Through this event, Danielle plans to express deep gratitude to domestic and foreign fans who have given unwavering support and love, share recent news directly with fans, and ask fans how they are doing.
Danielle's side said, "This live is for pure communication with fans and is not related to the lawsuit."
Meanwhile, ADOR announced last month that it had terminated Danielle's exclusive contract. ADOR said, "In Danielle's case, we judged that it is difficult for her to continue as a NewJeans member and as an artist under ADOR, and today we notified her of the termination of the exclusive contract. In addition, we plan to hold legally responsible one member of Danielle's family who bears significant responsibility for causing this dispute situation and for NewJeans' departure and delayed return, and former CEO Min Hee-jin."
Regarding the lawsuit, ADOR said, "We plan to file a complaint for liquidated damages and compensation against Danielle within the day," adding, "It is difficult to speak in detail because legal procedures will proceed later, but acts violating the exclusive contract occurred, such as entering into contracts that conflict with the exclusive contract, conducting independent entertainment activities, or damaging the reputation or credit of our company and NewJeans. We demanded correction, but since correction was not made within the deadline, we notified termination."
