Singer Younha successfully completed the first week of her small theater concert.
Younha held the small theater concert "Shining winter" on the 9th, 10th and 11th at Samsung Hall, Ewha Womans University in Seodaemun District, Seoul, creating warm memories with fans on winter days.
"Shining winter" is the fifth season of Younha's small theater brand concert, an extension of "潤夏 (Younha): shining summer" held in 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2024, and the 12-day run was sold out. Younha performed all songs as vivid band live sound, and responded to audience expectations with densely focused communication befitting a small theater.
Opening with "It's okay" and "As if it never happened," Younha consecutively performed stage renditions of timeless legendary songs. Ballad showcases filled with Younha's rich sensitivity, such as "The day I couldn't find the answer," "Truly (Truly)," and "There was a spring," provided healing that warmed the cold. The acoustic version of "Waiting" also delivered a different kind of emotion.
In the second half, Younha's more dynamic emotional line maximized immersion. Younha unleashed powerful vocals on stage with songs such as "Point Nemo," "Black hole (Black hole)," and "WINTER FLOWER (雪中梅)," sending shivers through the audience.
For the encore, Younha left a festival-like afterglow by passionately singing "Paper airplane," which alternated between vocal and rap parts, and the upbeat "Parade (Parade)."
During the concert, Younha especially surprised fans by directly announcing a remake album. The pre-release single from Younha's remake album "SUB CHARACTER (sub character)," which she is releasing for the first time in 22 years since her debut, will be released at 6 p.m. on Feb. 2 on various online music sites.
Younha's 2026 small theater concert "Shining winter" will continue to be held at Samsung Hall, Ewha Womans University on the 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st and on Feb. 1.
