The group NOWZ (NOWZ) met science creator Orbit.
NOWZ members Hyunbin, Yeonwoo and Siyoon appeared on Orbit's segment "Into Orbit's science" on the Unrealscience channel, which was released on the 9th, and talked with Orbit. First, Hyunbin said that they rebranded from "NauerDays" to "NOWZ" last year, saying "We changed our name because we wanted to grow stylishly like our seniors at the agency. Our fans have increased a lot and we feel that we are growing," he said.
Hyunbin introduced their third single "Play Ball," released in November last year, saying "It's an album that captures NOWZ's new challenge, like a baseball game that starts with the umpire's shout," and Siyoon said, "The goal this year is for the title track "HomeRUN" to be used as a cheer song." Orbit added, "There is an appeal to this album that connects it with sports that trigger dopamine in uncertain situations."
Siyoon said, "I loved science a lot when I was young, so I even visited the Korea Advanced Nano Fab Center (KANC). I dreamed of becoming a white hat hacker," and Hyunbin explained, "I am the first idol to come from a cycling background. My best result was sixth place at the Presidential Cup. Orbit advised about NOWZ, whose five members trained as trainees for a total of 29 years, "The situation of trainees is similar to that of graduate students. It's a test of whether you can endure like the extreme marshmallow experiment until results come out. Debuting is similar to a graduate student who has completed a doctoral degree and stands at the starting line as a researcher. NOWZ has also stood at the starting line, so every action from now on will be NOWZ's path."
Finally, NOWZ said in unison, "The most important moment in baseball is the home run. The biggest home run in life seems to be flying now. We believe that taking various challenges increases the chances of success, and we will work hard so that we can shine more when opportunities come."
