First, Jo Kwon hummed along as soon as he heard the song and said, "It reminds me of Jun X," completely sinking into the breakup sentiment. He also said, "The acoustic guitar is so good. They sang it so well, like people who have really experienced a breakup," which piqued curiosity.
Then Ha Sung-woon opened by saying, "The feel is different from the original" as soon as the song started, and, surprised by a high-pitched part of the track, applauded and praised, "They sing really well."
Pentagon's Hui took an interest in the arrangement from the start and immediately identified the owners of each part. "It's a difficult song, and I think this is the first time I've heard the juniors sing it like this," he said, showing special affection for the juniors, and he praised the arrangement until the end and asked again about the release date, leaving a strong impression.
Sanga, Chowon and Juhyun, launching as Lightsum's first unit, drew attention by consecutively releasing a teaser poster of the wistful song "Beautiful and painful" and concept photos showing the members' markedly matured looks.
The song, a remake in their delicate sensibility of "Beautiful and painful," released by BTOB in 2018, will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 15th.
