"Dongsaeng-i-mong 2" the flashy husband who blew through 150 million won in two months, and the elite wife. The extreme opposite lives of the Jeon Tae-poong couple were revealed on "Dongsaeng-i-mong."
On the 12th broadcast of the SBS entertainment show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny', the newly joined former professional basketball player Jeon Tae-poong and his wife Ji Mina's lives of extremes were revealed.
The couple, married 17 years, are parents of three children. Jeon Tae-poong said, "Even after having three children, my wife is very slim," showing his "dotting husband" side who only looks at his wife. Jeon Tae-poong and Ji Mina also revealed they share in common that they are mixed-race, born to a Korean parent and an American parent.
On the other hand, their daily lives were completely different. Ji Mina is an elite prodigy who graduated from the prestigious U.C. Berkeley in the United States and then attended graduate school in Florida; she revealed a history of working in Korea as an English instructor, guiding students in TOEFL, the SAT and college admission interviews. She steadily studied Korean as well and took on 24-hour responsibility for raising their three children, embodying the "model wife" herself.
By contrast, Jeon Tae-poong confessed he was "a flashy guy" and revealed his past. He said he spent all of the 150 million won signing bonus he received when he debuted in the Korean professional basketball league in just two months. "I bought a car to pick up women," he said, purchasing a luxury SUV with cash in a single payment without a loan, and at clubs he confessed to spending extravagantly, even paying for his friends' drinks.
